The Board of Directors has an immediate need for one or more volunteer Advertising Sales Representatives, in support of new sponsorship opportunities to be made available to the local business community for the 2018-19 curling season.
At a high level, duties will include:
- Developing a list of prospective sponsors based on a map of businesses in the area. Guidance and assistance will be provided by the Board of Directors.
- Personally contacting prospective sponsors to present advertising opportunities available at AMCC. Printed and online promotional materials will be provided in support of this activity.
- Order completion and accounting tasks (collecting payment, issuing receipts).
- Collection of required graphics files, and following-up to obtain approval on final ad design.
Sales activities will commence in the first week of May, and will continue through the end of August.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required; previous sales or marketing experience would be an asset. Further details will be made available to individuals who express interest.
