Sixteen teams, representing all Districts from across the Province, participated in the Golden Gals Provincial Championship 3-5 Feb 2017. City teams, and those in close proximity to Winnipeg, were joined by Golden Gals from as far away as Shoal Lake, Flin Flon and Dauphin in pursuit of the Provincial title. Round robin play commenced Friday morning, continued through Saturday with semi finals and finals taking place on Sunday. Congratulations to the Atkins team from Manitou for going undefeated against a very strong field in capturing the Provincial Championship.
A huge vote of thanks to Kathy Cox and her hard working host committee, many volunteers and club staff for delivering a first class event. Competitors and guests couldn't say enough about the social aspects, food/bar service and superb ice conditions throughout their stay at our great facility where the sense of pride is always evident.

All spare curlers not registered as a full-time player in an AMCC league are asked to register as a spare.
We are excited to share that AMCC has been selected by @CTJumpstart to receive a grant from their Sport Relief Fund. The fund helps community sport organizations like ours continue to provide access to sport and play for Canadian kids.
Jumpstart funds will be utilized in direct support of our Youth Curling Program which will be expanded to include a fully certified head Instructor, clinicians as required and some additional equipment. The Program will focus on Youth from all Demographics and backgrounds as well as the potential to include the disabled.
