This year’s throwback to the 50’s theme function was a great success and a fantastic way to end our curling season. Many team members dressed for the occasion and everyone participating enjoyed the afternoon, festivities, food, music and team awards.

The Winnipeg Curling Club Association is pleased to announce that AMCC's very own Taylor Foster has been selected as the most deserving female youth curler for the 2022/23 season. As pictured, and in keeping with the Awards Program guidelines, Taylor was presented with a keeper plaque and refund of her 22/23 league curling fees by WCCA Treasurer Rick Furney, Secretary Paul Batchelor and President Jason Shymanski.

Youth Convenor, Murray Peterson, remarked on Taylor's patience and understanding when assisting with the younger rock tossers and her hard work in improving her own curling skills. We wish Taylor the very best as she continues with the great sport of curling.

The WCCA is pleased to offer this awards program and encourage applicable Winnipeg Region Curling Clubs to submit nominations on behalf of deserving Youth curlers (via Paul or Jason) No Later Than 1 Apr, 2024.
